UPDATE: Euroset sells iPhone X in Moscow stores in early hours of sale

MOSCOW, Nov 3 (PRIME) -- Large retailer Euroset has sold all iPhone X smartphones in many stores in Moscow by 10 a.m. Moscow time on Friday, when the new Apple flagship became available in Russia, PR Director Alexandra Pertseva said.
“The bulk of smartphones under pre-orders have already been sold as well,” Pertseva said. “We see high demand for the new Apple flagship. We’ve already started taking pre-orders for the next batch of smartphones.”
Another large handset retailer Svyaznoy’s spokesperson Sergei Tikhonov said the first batch of the iPhone X will be sold at stores during the coming weekend.
“The priority, as in the case with the start of sales, is given to pre-paid orders placed with Svyaznoy and C-store (Svyaznoy’s Apple-dedicated branch). At the moment, the number of available devices is very limited in certain Svyaznoy stores in different cities of the country,” Tikhonov said.
Electronics retailer M.Video sold out the iPhone X in the Moscow trading center Metropolis within an hour.
The iPhone X price starts from 79,990 rubles.
A spokesperson for online classifieds Avito told PRIME that its Moscow users have already started reselling the iPhone X with the maximum price for a device with 256 GB of memory reaching 300,000 rubles. In the Urals city of Yekaterinburg, such a smartphone is offered for 110,000 rubles.
The most frequent offer amounts to 130,000–150,000 rubles, but there is also a one million ruble offer. Resellers offer 17 devices for a total of 2.55 million rubles, or 10 devices for 1.5 million rubles, the spokesperson said.
Free advertising service Youla boasts the highest price of a resold flagship smartphones of 300,000 rubles with the most widely spread price being at 120,000–140,000 rubles.
